In December, 2008, BAC began to work with Positive Law Institute, Peking University, and Beijing Fayi Network Technology Co, Ltd in the development of a series of database software for professional legal research - “BAC Legal Practice Service System”. The database for construction and real estate industries, “Legal Practices of Construction and Real Estate”, has been developed and published on December 31. This database includes about 20 thousand of data of practices like laws and regulations, contract samples, cases, study results and dispute resolution processes as well as guidelines and legal writings that are related to the construction and real estate. These data will be updated regularly.

　　During December 5^th till 14^th, 2008, the 2nd Mediation Training co-sponsored by BAC and Straus Institute, School of Law Peperdine University, US, was held and more than 30 students from home and abroad participated in the training and acquired the corresponding certificates.

　　On the morning of December 5^th, 2008, over 30 foreign students from China Law Class, Tsinghua University, leant China’s arbitration system and made an international communication in BAC.

　　During December 5^th till 7^th, 2008, “Founding Ceremony of Security Law Research Society of China Law Society” & “Legal System Building Forum of 30 Year’s Reform and Opening-up and China’s Security Market” was held in Central University of Finance and Economics, Beijing. Mr. Jiang Ping, Director of BAC was selected as the Director Commissary of Academic Committee of Security Law Research Society of China Law Society, Ms. Liang Huixing and Mr. Wang Liming the Commissaries of BAC were selected as Commissary of Academic Committee and Ms. Wang Hongsong, Secretary-general of BAC was selected as the Standing Director of Security Law Research Society. On December 7^th, Ms. Wang Hongsong made a wonderful speech themed by “Developments of Arbitration and China’s Security Market” on the Forum.

　　During December 6^th till 7^th, 2008, “Reform and Opening-up & International Law – the 5^th International Law Forum” sponsored by International Law Research Center, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences took place in Beijing, The representatives from BAC were present on the meeting as invited.

　　On December, 9^th, 2008, Ms. Wang Hongsong, Secretary-general of BAC was present on the Arbitrator Meeting of Hohhot Arbitration Commission and made a speech. Over 150 arbitrators under Hohhot Arbitration Commission attended this meeting.
　

　　On December 18^th, 2008,Mr. Jiang Huiling, Vice Director of Judicial Reform Office of the Supreme People’s Court and staff of Investigation and Research Office visited BAC, and held a special topic seminar about “Some Opinions about Establishment of a Perfect ADR” (a draft for discussion) drafted by the Supreme People’s Court in order to ask for opinions and suggestions. There were over 10 participants in the seminar including Ms. Wang Hongsong, Secretary-general of BAC, members of the subject team and relevant personals.

　　On December 20^th, 2008, “Seminar of Legal Issue of Development of Privately Offered Fund——The Application of ADR in the Issues of Privately Offered Funds” co-sponsored by BAC and Law Institute, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, held in BAC’s International Meeting Hall successfully.

　　On the afternoon of December 25^th, 2008, the 48^th BAC Arbitrator Salon was held successfully. The theme of this Salon was “Interest Problems in International Commercial Arbitrations” and Professor Lu Song gave a lecture in this Salon. As an arbitrator of BAC, Mr. Lu Song is also the Director of International Law Institute and the Dean of International Law Department in Foreign Affairs University presently.
