On February 28, 2009, the Seventh Meeting of the Eleventh National People's Congress Standing Committee made resolution to approve Treaty Concerning Civil and Commercial Judicial Assistance between the People's Republic of China and the Republic of Peru, which was signed by Chinese Foreign Minister Yang Jiechi on behalf of the People's Republic of China on March 19, 2008 in Beijing.

　　On February 28, 2009, the new Insurance Law of the People's Republic of China has been officially promulgated upon review and approval from the Seventh Meeting of the Eleventh National People's Congress Standing Committee. And the law will come into force since October 1, 2009
